Colorado Corn, Stratton Equity Coop, Colorado Oil & Public Safety and Little John’s Equipment will be hosting the Grand Opening celebration of the FIRST Blender Pump to come to Colorado as part of the Blender Pump Pilot Program we have developed. Stratton Equity Coop has installed a blender pump which will dispense E85, E40, E20 and E10…therefore fitting into the Advancing Colorado’s Renewable Energy (ACRE) Grant, Colorado Corn was awarded through the Colorado Department of Ag as well as the Colorado Blender Pump Pilot Program.

Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute (AFVi) presents the 16th annual Alternative Fuels & Vehicles National Conference + Expo (AF&V 2010). Ethanol production occurs in hundreds of rural communities around the country, employing local residents in fields ranging from accounting to maintenance to chemistry and engineering. Farmer-owned cooperatives, private companies, publicly traded corporations and even oil interests are a few of the business models the ethanol industry encompasses.
Ethanol can be produced in a variety of methods using a host of resources including grains, grasses, wood waste and even garbage. Most familiar is the process through which sugars are extracted from these resources and fermented into ethanol.
